Pearl Harbor and more!

Today is December 7, 2011.  How many of you even know what happened on this day 70 years ago?  Probably only about 75% of you...which is really sad!  The asshole Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and killed countless American soldiers and destroyed part of our Pacific fleet on a beautiful and peaceful Sunday morning!  Why?  Because they didn't realize they would get America's foot right up their asses!  However, if they fought today's military, with the leadership (not the troops) they have and Barack Obama running things...instead of McDonalds we would probably all be eating rice with chopsticks and flinging ninja stars at people!  It baffles me that when it popped up on Facebook about people that had mentioned Pearl Harbor only three people other than myself mentioned it in their statuses today.  Three people...pathetic!  Not that any WW2 vets are reading my blog but hats off to all of you!  Any of the Pacific or European soldiers deserve any kind of respect we can give them.  Next time you see an old man with a "WW2 Vet" hat on, I implore all of ALL of you to just say "thank you"!  All soldiers deserve that, but I just feel like some of our older vets don't get hardly any recognition these days and they had it much worse than any of our more recent wars other than Vietnam.  So God bless all of them and all of our current soldiers!

Stealing music...this is another thing I've gotten away from that I used to do ALL the time.  I mean, who hasn't right?  Well...the "biz" was doing just fine until Napster, Limewire, Frostwire, and whatever else came along.  Now people barely even buy CDs anymore!  Guess who that hurts...THE ARTIST!  You know...the person that you are such a big fan of!  Why is this person making music?  To give away?  NOPE!  They're making a career out of it...how would you feel if you ran a gas station for a living and people stole your gas?  Hmm?  Guess who else it will be effecting in the long run..ME!  Being in school for audio engineering has opened my eyes to how things really work and how important album sales are to the entire business.  I'd prefer that there be a music industry for me to work in by the time I get really good at my job!  The only time I've gotten music "illegally" lately is for pure convenience.  Something I already own but don't have access to or something I've owned in the past and lost.  I've already paid for it once therefore to me its fair game...unless its Metallica which I've probably bought every one of their CDs at least twice!  Point is...stop stealing music!  You're just shitting on the economy even more!  If you can't afford it...tough shit...keep listening to what you have!

A dear friend of mine recently opened my eyes to this "We are anonymous" group.  Now while some of their stuff is pretty cool, the more I dig the more I find NOT to like.  To be honest I don't really know my entire opinion on them yet.  Like I said...some of it I like, some I do not!  When I know more...you'll have my full opinion!  I would like to say another word about our lovely government though!  This protect IP act (or whatever its called) they've dreamed up is a complete crock of horse shit!  Just something else to line all those greedy bastard lawyer's pockets with more money.  Giving anyone the opportunity to sue even for just about anything entertainment related.  Those assholes will sue anyone for anything these days and they make a mockery of our judicial system (as if it needed any help looking inept).  How about someone sue them for being assholes and assisting our crack pot government in running our poor (as in pitiful and flat broke) country in the ground!  Now this may sound a little hypocritical considering what I just wrote about stealing music but there is more to it than just illegally downloading the latest teeny bopper hit from Justin Bieber or some new thug rapper you can't wait to listen to.  It digs into our privacy and our rights...and since the United States Constitution doesn't matter anymore I guess thats not a big deal to Washington!  George Washington and the rest of our founding fathers would turn over in their graves if they knew what kind of bullshit was going on in our nation's capital these days!  We colonized this country to get away from bullshit and a controlling government and look what eventually followed us...scary huh?

now on to the meat and potatoes...or what about a "tomatoe"?  sorry dan quayle!  ahh i'm ADD...moving on.  our gov't to be as "highly educated" as they are, is the dumbest bunch of assholes this side of inbred West Virginia!  i could really just stop at that particular statement and say really all i need to say about them...however, who doesn't wanna read a little more huh?  now i realize politics is really subjective and i'm sure a lot of you are going to disagree with me...and well...go ahead but you're going to be wrong!  first of all...this whole gun control thing they keep talking about.  YOU'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE GUNS OUT OF CRIMINALS HANDS!!! WHAT ABOUT THAT DON'T YOU FUCKING GET?!!??!?!  they will get their guns and they will shoot honest people that would follow your bullshit laws that won't have guns!!!  you better believe i'll shoot to kill anyone that tries to harm me and thats all there is to it.


next on my list is this whole pot is illegal thing...now i don't smoke and i really don't care if you do or not.  i think its pointless but thats just my opinion...but whats to stop me from doing it if i wanted to?  a silly law?  HA!  if i wanted to smoke i'd go across town and buy some pot and smoke it...big deal right?  well to our gov't who thinks its important to make smoking a naturally growing plant illegal has done nothing but create a multi-billion dollar crime spree and countless drug related murders all across the country.  i'm sure they get a lot of seizure money but is it really making that much of a difference?  you would think they would have learned from prohibition and all the crime it caused but i guess not!  heres an idea...sell it and tax the fuck out of it (sorry potheads...spend your money on something useful). maybe then we could start getting some of those trillions of dollars we're in debt back in control...ok yeah i know thats a pipe dream but just a thought!


and why is it that these days everything is about safety...putting down these "killer" dog breeds and making it against the law to not wear a seatbelt?  i for one like "killer" dogs...but unlike the thugs and rednecks in our country mine would not be running around biting people...there was a poodle...yes a poodle in my old neighborhood growing up and that was the meanest dog i've ever seen in my entire life...i wanted to kill it.  well this bitch of a neighbor was out walking her asshole poodle one day when my rotwieler got out...now this dog was 100% retarded and completely non aggressive...he only knew how to play!  hell he was basically still a puppy!  anyway so he's running around and her vicious poodle tries to go after him pulling her to the ground...well guess what happened next!  she called animal control and said "he knocked her down".  really?  thus starting a whole ordeal with gaston county which we wound up giving him away although they ruled we could keep him thanks to another neighbor of ours saw the whole thing and said she was completely full of shit.  point being...THESE days that wouldn't happen...they'd probably send him straight to the gas chamber or something because he's such a "dangerous breed".  you wanna see a dangerous breed?  come and try and take one of my dogs away and see what happens.  as for seatbelts,  i rarely drive across the parking lot without my seatbelt on but if i want to smash my face into something if i get in a wreck...why is it any of your business?  thats really all i have to say about that issue :)

this is some stupid shit...the entire school system should be embarrassed..."sexual harassment"?  really?  a 9 year old is pretty much incapable of that.  this is why people don't complement others anymore...next time i tell a girl she is beautiful...will i get sued?  this is going to make this kid think he can't even talk to women without getting in trouble.  i'm all for punishing kids that misbehave but don't suspend a CHILD for telling his teacher shes cute when i'm sure he was just doing what he thought was okay.

if you haven't seen the movie Idiocracy please go watch it and then think back to how many dumbass people you know and how many of them have reproduced (many multiple times).  to be honest i truly believe that it is what our great country is headed toward!  used to be if you didn't "get it" in school you failed and repeated the grade...now if you don't "get it" you get a pat on the back and a free pass (thank the democrats).  umm am i missing something here?  by the time my kid is in high school they will be able to pass elementary and middle schools only knowing how to count to ten and spell banana.  they probably won't even have to go to a school building, it'll all be online and socializing will no longer be important...making for...yep you guessed it...MORE STUPID PEOPLE!

now i will admit i'm guilty of not using 100% proper grammar or punctuation on my blog but i'm working on it!  it's much easier to type without capitalizing every letter and throwing in commas and whatever else!   so kiss my ass...ugh there i go with the language again...whoops!  i so f.uqqkin stoopit :)

just another day in the life...

sorry to disappoint everyone by not writing yesterday.  i was busy helping my teacher from school run sound in the vista all day.  talk about being worn out and sore...oh and did i mention COLD?!  thank god for the guy with the fire in a barrel or i would probably still be frozen!  oh well it was fun and a great learning experience for my future career regardless of which path i choose (recording engineer or live sound engineer).  i have some short random thoughts today because honestly i just don't feel like writing long paragraphs :)

• first on my list for today is fake people.  you suck at being alive!  the end.

• next up is these occupy columbia fools...marching all up and down the street during the middle of the  concert last night.  what a bunch of idiots...they don't even know what they're protesting!  they're just trying to make noise and stand out.  i understand life isn't perfect...mine isn't either...but instead of marching around like fools with signs yelling at people, go make a difference!  better yet start with trying to make yourself a better person instead of being a cancer to society.  

• grocery shopping...this is the part where i make fun of myself for today.  i hate going to the store because i always forget why i'm going.  they have this magical power to make you hungry when you go in there so everything that looks good you want to buy.  i went for one thing last night...MILK!  what did i not get?  MILK!  i managed to spend $65 on everything but milk...the one thing i went for.  who's a dumbass?!  THIS GUY!

• one thing that really gets my goat is people with shitty personalities.  just because you don't know how to let people in, be friendly, or hate your life doesn't mean that, because i am friendly, i'm weird. did you ever stop to think you're the asshole that is causing problems?  i like to talk a lot...so what?  if you don't then maybe its time you stop being a dick and try to have a conversation.  you're the ones that are going to be miserable the rest of your lives..not me!  years down the road you're still going to hate yourself and my happy ass isn't even going to remember your name. 

• last thing...seems my blogging has become a joke for some of you.  "why don't you blog about it" or whatever else has been said "blog on that" blah blah...fuck you.  no one asked for your smartass comments.  friends are supposed to support each other, not bring them down...and people want to call ME negative?  here's the thing...if you can be intelligent and have a disagreement i'll discuss it with you, but if you're just going to be a dick head then i could really care less what you have to say.  don't get mad at me because i actually have the balls to call people out and you don't.  if this is how i choose to express myself then who are you to judge?  i could give a shit what most of you think about me...there are a select few that i'd be upset if i offended and i think most of you know who you are.  that doesn't mean i don't care about the rest of you.  it just means i don't care what you think about me or my writing.

• anyway i just want to start off by saying if you're one of those dudes with a tough guy attitude...please check it at the door when it comes to talking to me.  this includes face to face or facebook whatever...and stop telling me you'll "whip my ass"...no you won't, you'll just talk about it incessantly every time you see me.  it doesn't impress me in the least little bit.  you being smaller than i am (because guys my size don't need to talk trash to boost our confidence) and trying to look hard really just makes you look like a dick.  why even try?  people like you should really have their asses beaten on a weekly basis until you stop acting like a redneck. your big bad truck or your tricked out honda civic doesn't give you superman powers either...you're just a little boy trying to prove himself...give it up, it doesn't work.

• i wanna tackle another touch subject...and a very sensitive one as well...racism.  now being from the south racism is prominent everywhere and everyone knows someone or IS someone who is a complete asshole racist.  i am an equal opportunity hater.  if you're white and you're a douche bag i won't like you...if you're black and you're a douche bag...again, i won't like you.  hispanic, asian...whatever...don't be a tool and you're okay by me.  that being said there is some definite ignorance in white and black communities especially.  families grow up being taught one way or another and instead of making progress in our relationships with one another we seem to be going in reverse.  take that obama guy for instance...i don't dislike him because he's black.  that has absolutely nothing to do with it.  in fact i'm glad we've gotten to the point in our country where we can have a black president.  i dislike him because i think he sucks at his job and i think with the approval rating he has most americans agree with me.  anyway, i'll never forget talking to a former coworker about the upcoming 2008 election and after telling her i had no intentions on voting for obama, she looked me square the eye and said "you're just not voting for him because he's black!  i know it!".  i've never wanted to strike someone so bad in my life.  i thought "how ignorant can you possibly be?".  here's the thing...we all have our fun with one another but when it comes down to it we're all equal folks...no one is better than someone else because of skin color.  if you're gonna look down on someone look down on idiots that make the negative stereotypes of any race true.  the hood rat thugs, the white trash, and whatever other stereotypes suck at life.  don't hate someone for being a different color than you are.  thats just being a simpleminded fool.

• i guess thats about enough for one day.  even though the above paragraph was a fairly positive spin on trying to change one of our biggest shortcomings as a society, i'd also like to include another life lesson.  if someone is being hateful, do your best to walk away from the situation.  i know i sound like a hypocrite saying that since i tend to get in a lot of arguments myself, but don't be like me.  do your best to walk away and diffuse a nasty situation before it gets started...this includes fighting, arguments, talking trash on facebook or text, or whatever else the situation may be!  you never want to find yourself in any danger due to someone's lack of decorum.  so instead of typing up a nasty status message or bashing someones face on the bar...take a step back and think...what is this going to solve?

i really thought about just talking a whole bunch of shit about duke fans but whats the point?  i'm starting to think they enjoy it so i'm not going to give them the pleasure...

instead i will talk about college sports a little bit...as annoyed as i am right now with the ignorance of some people, i will say that passion is what makes college sports so much better than pro sports.  these big college football rivalries like Texas - Oklahoma, Michigan - OSU, and Florida - UGA usually only happen once a year... twice on very rare occasions and to sellout crowds usually exceeding 90,000 people is what makes them so special.  college bball is a little different because they play more often and to smaller crowds but still have some great rivalries (Duke - UNC, Georgetown - Villanova, Kansas - KState, etc...) that usually aren't watered down even after playing 2 or 3 times a year.  the thing that keeps them so big is no one wants your team to lose to a friend's team...ever!  i get so mad when USC loses to clemson in any sport because i have friends that went there, or that are just fans and the never ending barrage of shit that comes from their mouths is sometimes almost unbearable!  same with Duke - UNC bball and Michigan - OSU football...granted i don't know a lot of ohio st fans but i still get a lot of crap from the few i know.  i'm not usually one to drag things out...if i do make a comment its one comment then i'm done with it...some people just don't know when to quit which usually winds up in me lashing out at them which is never good.  as much as it annoys me to hear trash talk its what makes college sports so special and its why everyone loves it so much.




next lesson today children...please learn to use you, your, and you're and also to, too, and two!  this drives me absolutely crazy...nothing says "i'm a dumbass" faster than not getting this simple little nugget of knowledge!  everyone is guilty at some point of using poor grammar but this is basic english people...its not hard!!

there are plenty more and thats why the english language is supposedly the hardest to learn but this stuff was covered in elementary school...i know that was a lot of weed and thousands of cans of beer ago for most of you but some of you have even managed to graduate college with this lack of knowledge.  which brings me to something else...just because you have a piece of paper that says you paid $50,000+ to go to school doesn't mean you're smarter than i am.  a few of you are...most of you aren't...but who the hell are any of you to try and look down at me for my lack of "education"?




one last thing for the day...i know a lot of you think i'm just this awful negative "i hate my life" type of person but i'm not...most of you on the other hand with your "ughhh i hate mondays" and "ahhh i can't wait till friday" and "ughh is it the weekend yet?" must be real fun folks during the week.  if you only look forward to friday...what does that leave you for the rest of the week?  nothing?  do you only live 52 days out of the year?  make the best out of every day and you'll be much happier, live longer, and much more pleasant to be around!  thats my positive influence attempt for the day...hope it helps...even if its just one person!

Joe Pa and Douchebags

okay i just couldn't wait any longer...i wanted to try and let everyone have a chance to read the first posting but i can't hold it any longer.  this whole Penn St scandal is really getting on my damn nerves...look guys i'm not saying paterno was blind to the whole situation...he had to have realized nothing was getting done but to make him look worse than sandusky is just ignorant.  everyone is losing focus on the real asshole here Jerry Sandusky. i'm trying to be objective with all of this and everyone just blindly stating joe pa is this "evil monster boogie man" is just ignorant.  i agree not all was done to help avoid another situation but i'm just fed up with the fact that everyone is placing blame on paterno for this like he was the one raping kids or "he might as well have been"...uh no...its the media telling the rest of you sheep what to think...learn to think for yourselves and i guarantee that you'll be a much better person and it might even make you look smarter!  all i'm saying is on the list of people who should be punched in the face for letting this happen...joe paterno is dead last!  a friend of mine also thinks that this whole scandal is about to get worse..and i agree with her...not saying this is definitely going to happen but don't be surprised if some really crazy stuff comes out!

now that that's all out of the way...here's what i planned on writing about today!  DOUCHEBAGS...aka Alpha males.  let me tell you why i have a problem with these fools. i can not for the life of me understand why the majority (not all) of these alpha males who are supposed to be leaders and supremely confident individuals spend the majority of their time trying to CONVINCE everyone how awesome they are? if you're such a badass then people should just recognize that right? apparently not...so instead of just being the strong silent type you're out there with this "oooh look at me i need attention" or "look how awesome i am" attitude instead of just being cool about it. to tell you the truth i think you're all a bunch of pussies with self confidence problems and you should prob get that checked out...take a pill or something and quit aggravating the hell out of me and bumping into me at bars before i knock one of you out and give you a reality check.

now that those douchebags are out of the way heres another group...wannabe celebrities!  ladies (and some guys) who frequent or just live for the club scene...you are not famous...none of you are so stop acting like it!  i don't know anyone famous and chances are most of you don't either...no one cares about you getting all "g'ed" up and going downtown and then posting it all over facebook, twitter, and whatever other social media you can find to make believe you're on TMZ...sure its fun once in awhile...but dropping $50-100 every weekend drinking is just ridiculous.  there are plenty of other things to do than going out to the epicenter every weekend!  here's a list of things i would enjoy more than going out to "da clubbb" 3-4 times a week: slicing my carotid artery, shooting myself in the knee, hanging out with richard simmons, watching nerds play call of duty for 72 hours straight, and finally playing human frogger.  i'm not saying don't have fun...but get a grip on your lives...no one gives a shit who you think you are i promise you!

i never thought i'd be the one to start a blog, but some friends of mine talked me into it...so lets see how it goes.

a lot of folks mistake my sarcastic humor for negativity...i've heard it for a long long time and i'd just like to clear the air here for many of you who don't realize.. i may make jokes about myself but it doesn't mean i sit home and cry about my problems...if i joke about my weight its just for a laugh...i'm unhealthy but i don't really feel bad about myself...i'll take care of that on my own i don't need your encouragement!  or if i say "damn i'm dumb" don't say "you're not dumb, don't talk bad about yourself" i know i'm not dumb, in fact chances are i'm much more intelligent than you are...its just my humor...i enjoy comedy like that and thats just my personality.  that doesn't mean that i'm negative!  I'M JUST REALISTIC!!!

first issue of the day...Panthers fans!  people shut up about the panthers losing...as i said on facebook earlier they're not that good.  most of the people complaining are women (and some men) whom most know dick about football...look folks i know that you think just because we have a couple of guys on the team making millions of dollars that we should be winning the super bowl every year but thats just not how it goes...we've barely had anyone make the pro bowl the last few seasons and its not looking so hot this year either. that being said we're doing something called rebuilding...let me break it down...okay so people get old and retire, people get more $$$ and leave, and people get traded...oh and did i forget injuries?!  those happen too ya know?  how do we replace them you ask?  we get new players...some of which might not be as good as the ones that left or got hurt...we are not the steelers or another team that consistently has this "magic" formula...if you don't like how the team is run then talk shit about jerry richardson not the players.  to suggest these guys don't care about winning is asinine...if thats what you think you should stop watching football.

issue # 2...ladies nothing screams "i'm jealous because she's hotter than i am" more than talking shit about a girl you've never met.  hearing "oh my gahh she's such a fill in the blank" when you're talking about a girl that is hotter than you is normally a sign that you're extremely jealous and thats okay it happens to the best of us...but its quite unattractive and very annoying.  if you have a valid comment thats cool...but if your comment carries no reasonable basis then just shut up and keep it to yourself instead of looking like a fool.  nothing irks a guy more when he's thinking "wow she's hot" than "omg look at that slut over there"...that is partly why i don't even like to go out anymore.  act like you've been there before...you're not 18 and this is not high school...
